2003, the Midori formed in Osaka.
2005, releases extremely propulsive and avant garde debut album First. The image of Mariko Goto, in a schoolgirl sailor uniform, thrashing the axe helped the band gradually become the talk of the nation. Midori's activities reached critical buzz after the band scandalized both the pop and underground scenes.
In 2006, the killer tune Anta wa Dareya is released as a free download from mF247, strengthening the band's presence.
2007, the new album Second? is released. Upcoming participation in ARABAKI ROCK FESTIVAL, RISING SUN ROCK FESTIVAL, and SUMMERSONIC among other festivals are scheduled. The band is blistering right now.
