
A singer-songwriter. Born in 1965 to a pastor in Ube, Yamaguchi prefecture. Accomplished major label debut while still a student at the Kansai Gakuin University School of Divinity with the release of the single Ito chiisaki kimi no tame ni and the album MORATORIUM. Since then, he has released 11 albums (23 singles) that include hit songs Shinkokyu, Sorayo, Kokoro no tobira, Atarashii kaze, and Bokuwa kaze, kimiwa sora. He has worked on theme songs for TV shows and commercials, and has written for famous Japanese musicians such as Shonentai, Eisaku Yoshida, Mariko Nagai, Chage, and Kenji Sawada (as well as for musicians in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Malaysia). Jinnouchi also does wide variety of other works such as being a radio host, instructor at a music college, and as a sound producer. He has recently focused on solo work, as well as being the vocalist of the superband Vibes (released two albums from Columbia in 2003-04 with band members Nobu Saito, Issei Noro of Casiopea, Hiroyuki Namba, Shingo Kobayashi, Hideki Matsubara, and Nobuo Eguchi). Started giving "Church Concerts" in 2007 alongside his regular work, as part of his lifework as a messenger of Christianity, having been "born and raised in a church".
